First and foremost, if you're new to the forum, then welcome! Please do not hesitate to introduce yourself to the community or ask for assistance from any of the moderators on staff. We're here to help you have fun.
That out of the way, there are certain things expected of people here so that everyone can get the most out of this roleplay forum.
Civility
This can otherwise be stated as "play nice", and covers every sort of mean-spirited thing that players can do to each other. We're all here to have fun, so it's important for each and every player to think before they post. Do not engage in name-calling, bad attitudes, OOC insults, racism, hate speech, doxxing, excessive caps lock, griefing, trolling, provoking, harassment, insulting each other in different languages, threatening, etc. Apologize if you accidentally disrupt a roleplay because of an OOC mistake. This is also a catch-rule for power gaming: Other player characters are not yours to control or kill, rob or extort without previously discussing it OOC beforehand.
Organization
A fair bit of effort went in to make this forum, lets keep it neat. No spamming, no double posting, no off-topic threads. Bumping an RP thread is entirely unnecessary; rather, try to get a hold of roleplay partners from the thread to get it going again if that is your wish, or find a way to add content to the thread that somebody else can then join. Use the Shoutbox if you want to bring attention to it. "Double posting" will only be permitted if it adds enough new content. Basically anything less than 5 lines can just be edited onto your previous post - that's what the Edit function is there for.
Community Focus
Basically means not posting things that people aren't here to see. Adult or mature content needs to be marked with appropriate thread tags; no illegal material such as warez or downloads of copyrighted content; no advertising other websites or roleplay boards, though namedropping is allowed if it is relevant to a broader topic; and no music or videos embedded in your signature or posted in the Shoutbox. Explicit roleplay should be taken to private messages or chat programs, after which a clean summary can be posted if necessary.
Responsibility
Ban evasions are not allowed on this forum at all. One account per person. No signatures over 800(width) x 350(height), and try to keep it under 2.5 MB. This means the WHOLE signature. If you have multiple images, or text that puts it over, then it is not allowed and will get your signature removed and/or locked. Meta-gaming is also not allowed: your character needs to glean information from in-RP sources first. Knowledge of lore won't help you unless your character knows it too. It's -your- job to keep track.
Other Rules
English only, and no more than 3 images in a post (unless it is a gallery thread, in which I will allow more, and even then try not to stretch the post further than 2000px height or 900 px in width). Please be sure to read the stickies for each sub-forum before you post. No forum games, they just lead to spam. Abuse of the emoticons will not be tolerated.

Please note that punishment for breaking any of the above rules -is- arbitrary, subject to the nature of the transgression and the judgement of the moderator handling it.
